Shenzhen - Zhuhai Ferry
Nowadays, there are more than 30 direct ferries running from Shenzhen Shekou Port and Fuyong Port to Zhuhai, taking 50-70 minutes and costing CNY 120-160 for the different seat classes and sailing distances. Ferries from Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port, Wailingding Island and Guishan Island Ferry Terminal back to Shenzhen are also available for passengers with prices ranged from CNY 120 to 190.

Shenzhen Shekou Port (Shekou Passenger Transport Port) operates direct ferries to Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai. The ferries only takes around an hour to arrive in downtown areas of HK, Macau and Zhuhai. Besides, passengers can spend 30 minutes to Sky Pier next to Hong Kong Airport (HKIA) from Shekou Port by ferry.

How to get to Shekou Port
1. Take Metro Line 2, get off at the Shekou Port Station and then get on a free shuttle bus to the port;
2. Take bus no. 328, 331, 332, M105, B601 to Shekou Ferry Center Station then walk to the port directly.
Located around 10 kilometers (6 miles) to Shenzhen Bao’an Airport, Fuyong Port operates direct and convenient ferries to Sky Pier neighboring Hong Kong Airport, Macau Maritime Terminal and Macau Taipa Temporary Terminal.

How to get to Fuyong Port
Upon landing at Bao’an Airport, passengers can take free Airport Ferry Terminal Bus to Fuyong Port directly. Follow clear English signs and arrive at the boarding site easily. In general, it takes 7-8 minutes on the way.
Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port, located on the west bank of the Pearl River, is near the South China Sea and at the intersection of Hong Kong and Macau. This port is 36 nautical miles from Hong Kong, 28 nautical miles from Shenzhen Shekou Port and 40 nautical miles from Zhuhai Airport. Ferries from Jiuzhou Port can arrive in HK China Ferry Terminal, HK Macau Ferry Terminal, Sky Pier neighboring Hong Kong Airport, Shenzhen Shekou Port and Zhuhai Jiuzhou Island.

How to get to Jiuzhou Port
Take bus no.3A, 3, 4, 12, 22, 23, 25, 26, 99, I1, Airport Shuttle Bus (Zhuhai College of Jilin University Line) to Jiuzhou Port directly. There is no metro station nearby. If passengers take a taxi from Zhuhai Railway Station to Jiuzhou Port, it will cost CNY 20 to CNY 30 in general.
Wailingding Island is located at the southeast of Xiangzhou District, Zhuhai. It is about 27.5 nautical miles from Zhuhai downtown in the west and 35 nautical miles away from Shenzhen in the north. In order to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wailingding Island, passengers can take the daily ferries from Shenzhen Port.
Situated in Guishan Town, Guishan Island is a well-known tourist island in Zhuhai. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Zhuhai Wanshan Marine Development Zone. The location is also important: in the ‘Golden Triangle’ between the Pearl River and Pearl River Delta. Guishan Island is 15 nautical miles away from Macau in the east and only 3 nautical miles away from HK Lantau Island in the north. Should we purchase our tickets in advance, or is it OK to buy when we arrive at the port? How full are the Ferry's? From Zhuhai to Shenzhen (on Thursday, September 28th).

00ReplyIt should not be a problem to buy the ticket on the spot. It's the day before the China National Day holiday, so big crowds have not arrived yet.
