As for the bottom, thick sweatpants or casual pants are enough. However, in cold nighttime and on some cold rainy days, you need a down jacket and long johns.
Shoes: You are recommended to wear thick sneakers or hiking boots. It is best that they are waterproof and slip-resistant, which are more convenient and safer on rainy days.
