Anhui Food in Shanghai

Anhui Cuisine is one of the famous Eight Cuisines of China, but there are few Anhui restaurants in Shanghai. The locals are generally unaccustomed to authentic Anhui food.

Different from other cuisines, Anhui Cuisine attaches importance to its ingredients rather than seasonings. Typical Anhui dishes are made of bamboo shoots, chicken and other local products in Anhui. Most of the dishes are greasy and salty.
