BC-HK02 : 2009 Hainan International Road Cycling Race
From November 11, 2009 to November 19, 2009, the Hainan International Road Cycling Race in 2009 will be held in Hainan Island.
Compared with the previous three tournaments, all 9 stages of this year's cycling race have been changed or adjusted, and featured as the following points:

1. The distance of the race is the longest, altogether 1429.7km, among which only 145.9km is the highway.
2. The schedule of the race covers all the 18 cities and counties of Hainan Province.
3. The prelude race is replaced by the new circuit race, which is initially set to encircle Sanya city for 10 rounds.
As usual, the Hainan Cycling Race has attracted many competitive teams and riders from all over the world, including China Marco Polo UCI Continental Cycling Team, 4 national teams from Denmark, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and China and Giant Asia Racing Team from Taiwan Province.
