Hengyang East Railway Station

Hengyang East Railway Station is about 13 kilometers (8 miles) from Hengyang city center, 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Mt. Hengshan. As the second largest high speed railway station in Hunan Province, Hengyang East Train Station operates high speed trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Changsha, Shenzhen and Nanjing... It is the important railway station along many railway lines including Beijing - Guangzhou High Speed Railway Line, Hengyang - Liuzhou Railway Line, and Hengyang - Ji’an Railway Line.

Hengyang East Railway Station looks like a flying wild goose from far away, standing for the city Hengyang known as “the city of wild geese”.

The station building has three floors: the first floor is arrival hall; the second is where the platforms are located; and the third is the elevated floor used as departure hall. The railway station has 12 ticketing windows in the first floor.
 One bus stop can be found near Hengyang East Train Station. Passengers can take city bus 136, 137, 145, 146, 147, 148 and 171 to get to the east railway station.
 Passengers can take city bus 171/137 to get to Hengyang Bus Terminal Center, then take Hengyang - Nanyue long distance bus to get to Mt. Hengshan. The long distance bus departs from 7:15 – 17:00 every fifteen minutes with ticket fare of about CNY 15 per person. The bus ride from the bus terminal center to Mt. Hengshan is about 60 minutes.
 1. Take city bus 137 to get there directly.
2. Or take a taxi to get there. The fare is about CNY 25 and the duration is about 20 minutes.
 1. Take city bus 203 to get to the airport directly. It may take about 1 hour to arrive there.
2. Passengers can also take a taxi to get to Hengyang Nanyue International Airport directly. The fare is about CNY 60 and it may take about 40 minutes.
 1. Take city bus 171/137 to Xiaoximen, then walk north along Hechi Road for about 1,600 meters (1,800 yards) to get there.
2. Or get there by taxi directly. The fare is about CNY 30 and the duration is about 25 minutes.

2. Or take a taxi to get there. The fare is about CNY 25 and the duration is about 20 minutes.
