Huaihua South Railway Station

Huaihua South Railway Station is about 7 kilometers (4.5 miles) from Huaihua Railway Station and 90 kilometers (60 miles) from the Fenghuang Ancient Town. As a junction station along Shanghai - Kunming High Speed Railway Line, it mainly operates high speed trains from/to Changsha, Beijing, Shanghai, Guiyang, Kunming, Chongqing, Nanchang, etc.

Address: To the east of Hutian Avenue and south of Gaoyan Road, Hecheng District.

Huaihua South Railway Station is equipped with 5 platforms, 14 tracks. The terminal building of Huaihua South Train Station consists of two floors above the ground and two floors under the ground. The detailed information about the station plan is as follows:
-1 F: Exits, Bus Transfer Terminal, Restaurants, Stores, Tourist Information Center, Parking Lot.
-2 F: Garage, Equipment space.
  1 F: Square, Waiting hall, Ticket Office, Taxi Stands.
  2 F: Platforms.
 

Passengers can take any of the following buses to get to the two bus stops nearby the station:
To Huaihua South Railway Station bus stop: passengers can take bus No.30/K30, 116, K12.
To South Railway Station bus stop which is to the north of the station: passengers can take bus No.21, 39/K39, 66, 204/K204.
 

Take a coach at Huaihua South Railway Station to Fenghuang General Bus Station, it takes more than one hour for the ride and the ticket fare is CNY40. When you get off, there are three options for you to get to Fenghuang Ancient Town:
1.    Passengers can take the Tourist Bus, it costs CNY5 and it departs when all the seats are taken.
2.    Passengers can also take bus Fenghuang Line 1 and get off at the Agriculture Bank of China bus stop and then walk southwards and turn left at the crossroad.
3.    Taxi is also available for the passengers and it costs CNY10.

Passengers can book a commercial vehicle; it takes CNY65 per person with the travel time of an hour and it sends passengers to Fenghuang Ancient Town directly.

Charted bus is also available for passengers, and it costs CNY200 to CNY300 which is very convenient for travel groups or those passengers with lots of luggage.
 

1.    Passengers can take Bus No.116 or No.204/K204 to Huaihua Railway Station directly.
2.    Take bus No.K12 to Huaihua Mansion bus stop, get off and walk westwards for about 500 meters (550 yards) to the station square.
3.    You can also take a taxi which will cost CNY20 within 25 minutes.
