Qiandaohu Railway Station

Qiandaohu Railway Station is named after the famous tourism attraction - Thousand Islets Lake which is only about 27km (17mi) away. As an important station on the Hangzhou - Huangshan High Speed Railway Line, it is about 1-hour high speed train ride from Hangzhou and 40 minutes from Huangshan. Qiandaohu Train Station also operates high speed trains from/to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xiamen, Chengdu, Changsha, etc.

Qiandaohu Railway Station is a unique high speed train station as the station building integrates the characteristics of local lake landscape. It is equipped with 2 platforms and 6 tracks. The terminal building consists of two storeys for passenger use and the layout is as follow:
1 F: Exits
2 F: Entrance, Waiting Hall, Ticket Office
 

There are three options for passengers to the Thousand Islets Lake:
1.    Passengers can take blue shuttle bus at Hanghuang Railway Qiandaohu Station Bus Stop outside the railway station to the wharf of the Thousand Islets Lake directly. It takes about 1 hour to get there and the ticket fare is CNY15 for each person. These blue buses are shuttle buses passing by different hotels and passengers can also take it to shuttle among the railway station, hotels in town and the wharf of the lake.
2.    Passengers can also take the black tourist bus outside the railway station to Qiandaohu General Bus Station. The ticket is CNY5 and travel time is about 30 minutes. Then take bus K015 and get off at the Tourism Wharf bus stop. The ticket fare will be CNY1 and it takes about 20 minutes.
3.    Passengers can also take a taxi to the wharf of the Thousand Islets Lake. It will cost CNY90 within 35 minutes.
