Hefei Airport

Replacing the Luogang Airport, the Xinqiao International Airport was put into use on May 30, 2013. It mainly serves Hefei city and other cities around. It has one 3,400-meter-long (2.1 miles) runway and one 108,500-square-meter-large (27 acres) terminal. 27 planes can be accommodated in at the same time. Now it serves about 58 airlines, connecting most of the major cities as well as famous domestic tourist cities. The cities mainly include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Taiyuan, Haikou, Kunming, Hangzhou, Guilin, Sanya, Huangshan, Lijiang and so on. Besides, international flights to Singapore, Seoul, Bangkok, Cheju and so on are operated too. In the coming three years more international flights are planned – some serving destinations as far as Frankfurt.
 

The single terminal in the airport contains three floors.  The 1st Floor is dedicated to Arrivals; the 2nd Floor handles Departures and it also houses the VIP Waiting Halls on its west side.  The Waiting Hall for international flights is on the east side.  The interlay floor is used as the transfer area. Domestic transiting can be made on this floor and passengers can go to the boarding gate of the next flight without claiming their luggage.  Those who do not intend to make transfer can go to the first floor from the interlay by taking the escalators.
 

 Shuttle Bus
Four shuttle bus lines connect the airport and the Hefei city at intervals around 40 minutes. The bus operates about an hour and forty minutes to an hour and fifty minutes during rush hours, while it is around an hour and ten minutes during other times.

  Tips:
The first bus at 05:40 picks up passengers at Sanxiaokou Ticket Office only and after that reaches the airport directly before 07:00.
The bus ticket from the local Passengers General Bus Station can be bought at the Ticket Window 14 from the bus station.

 Taxi
The taxi fare between the airport and the city downtown is around CNY 100 and the duration is about 40 minutes.
  Medical Room& Baby Room: In front of Boarding Gate 13 and Gate 14.

 Bank: Xinqiao Branch of Bank of China can be found at the Gate 8 on the second floor.

 Passengers Service Center: The service center is located at the center part of the first floor. The service center provides printing, copying, faxing and mailing services as well as inquiry and luggage storing. Passengers can also choose to meet their companions there.
