Traditional City Center

Futian District is affiliated to Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, and it is the city center of Shenzhen. It connects Luohu District on the east, Nanshan District on the west, and Longhua District on the north. With strong economic strength, it ranks 3rd in China’s Top 100 Districts Lists. Mangrove Nature Reserve, Xiasha Village and Bi Jia Mountain are worth visiting. Futian District Shenzhen is close to Hong Kong, travelers can take Metro Line 4 and transfer MTR East Rail Line of Hong Kong at Futian Port or take the high speed trains from Futian Railway Station, which only takes about 15 minutes. Travelers could also choose to get to Hong Kong through Huanggang Port which is in service all the day.

You may need 1-2 days for Futian District travel. Mangrove Nature Reserve, Xiasha Village, Bi Jia Mountain and Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center are worth going.

Mangrove Nature Reserve
It is a green corridor in the urban area of Shenzhen. It is not only a paradise for birds and mangroves, but also a good place for visitors to watch birds, enjoy the sight of the sea and the beautiful scenery of the mangroves.

Xiasha Village
It is located in the southwest of Futian District Shenzhen. This is also a folk village with various traditional customs where Ancestral Hall of Huang, martial arts performance, Cantonese opera performance and the famous dish Pen Cai attract countless visitors.

Bi Jia Mountain
The whole mountain is named after its three main peaks which look like the pen holders. From the summit, you can enjoy the bustling cityscape and overlook the Shenzhen Bay. There is a natural cobble stone channel made by tides. As the tides rise and fall, it fades in and out which makes a wonder. Visitors cannot miss the famous building in the mountain-Sanqing Pavilion. This pavilion is in traditional artistic style while absorbing the characteristics of Western ancient architecture.

Visit Hong Kong through Huanggang or Futian Port
Huanggang Port and Futian Port connect Shenzhen with Hong Kong. Among them, Huanggang Port is available to travelers all day and travelers can take Metro Line 7 to this port. Futian Port opens from 06:30 to 22:30, Metro Line 4 pass through this port. These two ports are very convenient for people to travel to Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Best Time to Visit Futian District

The best time to visit Futian District is winter and early spring from December to March. The temperature is 15-21℃ (59-69.8℉). The climate in Futian District Shenzhen belongs to a subtropical maritime climate with mild temperature and sufficient sunshine. The annual average temperature is 24℃ (75.2℉). There are more typhoons from July to September. Futian District Shenzhen is very hot from May to October with an average temperature of 32℃ (89.6℉).

Travelers can take a flight to Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport which is about 35 km (21.7 mi) from Futian District, and then take Metro Line 11 and Line 7 to their destinations. Shenzhen Futian Railway Station is only about 2 km (1.2 mi) from the center area of Futian District. Travelers can choose to take a train first, and then take Metro Line 3, get off at Shixia Station. Travelers can also take trains to Shenzhen Railway Station and then take Metro Line 1 and Line 3 or take trains to Shenzhen North Railway Station and then take Metro Line 4 and Line 7 to Futian District Shenzhen. Taking a flight to Hong Kong International Airport is another choice. Travelers can take the Kowloon Motor Bus and No.279X Bus to Sheung Shui Station, and then take MTR East Rail Line to Futian District Shenzhen.

Within the city, Metro Line 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 9, 11 are available. The taxi charges CNY 10 for the first 2 km and CNY 2.6/km for subsequent distance. It may cost CNY 35-45 from Shenzhen North Railway Station, CNY 25-30 from Shenzhen Railway Station, CNY 10-15 from Futian Railway Station and CNY 90-100 from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport to Futian District China.

Futian HSR Train Station Amenities

Please let us know if the Futian HSR Train Station has Banks within the facility or just nearby. For example, Bank of China (BoC) and the ICBC Bank branches as well as ATMs. Kindly advise their locations. Many thanks!

Though there is no bank in the station, Bank of China is not far from it, with the distance of about 400 m. It is located in F1, Times Financial Center, 4001 Shennan Avenue, Futian District.
