Hi, I am Sally, my surname is Si, and you can simply call me Si. I have worked as a travel consultant at TravelChinaGuide since 2000. I love to travel and I have in person visited over 20 major Chinese cities, such as Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guilin, Lhasa, Dunhuang, Hong Kong, Urumqi, Yangtze River and etc. I also aspire to travelling around the world to see the beautiful scenery in foreign countries and learn their history and culture. But for now, I would travel more in my country, and present our magnificent land and its unique history to all who plan to visit China.

Every day, I need to contact dozens of guests, both face to face and behind the scene with emails and phone calls. I’m always enthusiastic and patient with queries, and provide apt solutions to travellers' problems. It is both challenging and exciting, because I know I am often their only hope. I hope that my emails are being appreciated, and the recipients will overlook my grammatical as well as syntax errors.

I often recall a phone call from a helpless and nervous girl traveler from South Africa. She told me that it was the day she had expected to go home, but then she had discovered that she had just lost her money and travel documents, and was at a loss on what to do next. She tried to contact the South African embassy, but found us through Google instead. You know, it was in the year of 2000, when internet and English were not yet widely used in China. My voice over the phone was her hope. My colleagues and I went through hell and fire to reach anyone in the small hours over the weekend to contact the South Africa embassy. Finally we were successful to put her in touch with an Embassy staff. Maybe, for many people, this is just a trivial matter, but it gave me courage and the confidence to continue with my work and inspired me to make a career of it with utmost job satisfaction, since because I could help others through my work and get a great sense of satisfaction and achievement.

Never let anything to deter you from realizing your dreams. If visiting China is one of your dreams, then please contact Sally, and I will work to bring your dream alive with a smile. J
