Dandong Railway Station

As the closest railway station to North Korea, Dandong Railway Station operates international train K27 to North Korea Pyongyang and domestic high speed trains and normal speed trains to/from Beijing, Dalian, Shenyang and etc. It is about 4 kilometers (2 miles) from Dandong city center, about 2 kilometers (1 miles) from Yalu River Bridge and about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Hushan Great Wall.

 One pair of international trains to/from Pyongyang are operated at Dandong Railway Station every day. The train departs at 10:00 Beijing Time from Dandong Station and arrives at Pyongyang Station at around 18:07 Pyongyang Time the same day; leaves Pyongyang at 10:26 and arrives in Dandong at 16:23.

 Take bus 206 to Renmin Bridge, then take airport shuttle bus to get to the airport. On Monday, Wednesday and Sunday, the airport bus departs at 14:00 and On Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the airport bus departs at 11:00 and 14:00. It may take about 1 hour to Dandong Langtou International Airport.
 Take bus 105 to get there directly.

Or go there on foot. Walk southeast along Shiwei Road for about 800 meters (880 yards), then turn right to Binjiang Middle Road, keep walking southwest for about 300 meters (330 yards) to get to Yalu River Bridge.
 Take bus 214 to Taiyang Island and then walk about 2,000 meters (2,200 yards) along Binhai Highway to get to Hushan Great Wall.
 Passengers can charter a five-seat car to Phoenix Mountain which costs about CNY 900/ day.
 Located in Tangchi Town, Dandong West Railway Station is far away from downtown area. It is very inconvenient for passengers to get to other places from the west railway station. Passengers are not advised to depart from or arrive at the west railway station.
