How do you get from Guangzhou airport to the city?

How far is Guangzhou Airport from the city? It is about 30 kilometers (19 miles) far away from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to downtown area. There are three traveling ways:

1. Metro line 3: about 30 minutes; CNY 2-10

2. Airport Shuttle Bus: around 50 - 150 minutes; CNY 6 - 60

3. Taxi: around 60 - 90 minutes; CNY 100 - 210 according to the distance

1. Metro Line 3 (North Extension)

Guangzhou Metro Line 3 is dedicated to link the Baiyun International Airport and the downtown area, covering Tianhe District, Haizhu District and Panyu Distrcit.

Station at T1: Airport South

Station at T2: Airport North

Operation Time: 06:00 - 23:15 at T2, 06:02 - 00:08 the next day at T1

Main Stops in Downtown: Guangzhou East Railway Station, Canton Tower, Zhujiang New Town…

Travel Time: around 30 minutes

2. Shuttle Bus

You need to take metro line 3 at the airport to Yantang, then transfer to line 6 to Yide Rd., then walk southward for about 400m and turn left to find the hotel.

How to travel from GuangZhou BaiYun airport to DaBu County

First you need to travel from the airport to Guangzhou East or Guangzhou south railway station to connect a train. Take metro line 3 at the airport to Guangzhou East, or take metro line 3 to Jiage Wangang, then transfer to line 2 to Guangzhou South Railway Station.

Take a train from Guangzhou East or South Railway Station to Meizhou West Railway Station, then take bus no. 18 to Wuzhoucheng Bus Station in Meizhou, where you can take a coach to Dabu County.

Walk southward along Beijing Rd. to Beijing Rd. Station, then take metro line 6 to Yantang, transfer to Line 3 North Extension to Airport South (Terminal 1).
