Sightseeing buses are a convenient way for you to tour Shanghai and these well-known attractions. 

City Sightseeing Bus

Tourists can ride the double-decked City Sightseeing Buses for a one-day fun trip of Shanghai. Serving people in the same way as public buses, the City Sightseeing Buses run two routes respectively in Puxi area and Pudong area. Audio guides are available in the bus. Tourists can get a free earphone for free when they are aboard. After they install the earphone into the opening provided, tourists can receive introductions of places of interest in Shanghai in 8 different languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Chinese. Tourists can either have a through trip or stop at any stations at will. The through ticket is valid for unlimited rides in 24 hours at the cost of CNY30. One adult could take one child under 1.4m for free.

Nanjing Road Sightseeing Bus

There are special sightseeing buses on the Nanjing Road. Composed of several small compartments, the electric-powered buses take tourists through the bustling Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. This bus moves slowly and you can take photos while traveling the street. The operating time is from 08:00 to 22:30 every day. The fare is CNY2 per person. Some of the buses are in the shapes of lovely cartoon animals, and decorated with colorful sparkling lights at night that attract many tourists.
