Transfer in Taiyuan to Get More High Speed Trains

On account of the fact that only 4 pairs of trains serve between these two cities, passengers who fail to order the tickets can make a transfer in Taiyuan to get more choices.

Railway Stations in Yuncheng

Yuncheng North Railway Station has a distance of around 10 km (6.2 mi) from the city center. There are bus line nos. 12 and 14 connecting the station with the city center directly with the duration of about 1 hour. Compared to the North Railway Station, Yuncheng Station is closer to the city center, with a distance of about 3 km (1.8 mi). Passengers can take bus nos. 2, 14, 20, 99, 101 and so on to other areas in the city from the station. Please note that all trains to and from Beijing are operated at the North Railway Station.

Is there standing tickets for sale on train G627?
If we book second class seats, is there any chance the seat will be occupied by other standing passenger?

No, no standing ticket type on G627. Every passengers board will have own seats. If someone took your seats, you can ask train staff for help.

Can I walk from hard sleeper carriage to soft sleeper carriage?
We are two families traveling together but plan to book different carriages. We can walk through different carriages to have dinner together?

Passengers can walk through different carriages, but seems only during day time. The doors of different carriages may locked during night time. In this way, dinner should be possible, but not too late.
