The stopovers along the way include Zhengzhou, Wuchang, Changsha, and Guangzhou East stations within Mainland China, and passengers can get on and off at these stations. However, passengers traveling through between the two cities should have their travel documents (ticket, valid passport, and visa) checked at the Entry and Exit Office at Beijing West or Hung Hom stations, and are not allowed to get off the coach on the way.

Passengers are advised to get to Hung Hom Station 45 minutes in advance of the departure time for the exit formalities. The boarding gates close 10 minutes before departure from Hung Hom station.

From Beijing West Station, passengers should enter from the Immigration Inspection Hall and get on board after the check. The hall is located at the right side of the entrance. The waiting area opens 120 minutes before departure; customs examination begins 90 minutes before scheduled departure time; the boarding gate closes 20 minutes before departure. Thus, passengers are advised to arrive at the station at least 1.5 hours in advance.

All worked great, ticket was waiting for me at the hotel. Only minor negative was I did not know the Hung Hom train station was under reconstruction and I arrived too early. Not a big deal but could have stayed an extra hour at the hotel. Train was comfortable and absolutely the most comfortable and smoothest cross border crossing method.

Many thanks for organising our train and internal flights during our recent visit to China. Everything went really smoothly thank you, from your prompt replies to my email enquiries, to the efficient delivery of our train tickets to our hotel in Beijing. Your service was first class and I wouldn’t hesitate to use your company again!China was fascinating, I loved every minute of it!

Our experience with you was very good . The tips you have in your website about waiting rooms, ways of reading the train tickets, etc , are very useful. Your web information about meals on the train is exactly like you describe.
Just highlight a couple of things . First one, when we went to West Kowloon Station to collect the tickets back from Beijing to HK , we were charged 30 HK dollars for the print service . Second one, travelers need to remember what time your train arrives at your destination because the train ticket does not put this time. During the trip, only the next stops are announced and you do not know how many stops are still before your destination....More

I was quite unsure about booking my train tickets as it was my first time travelling to China and I was travelling alone to visit my daughter.
However, I found it easier than I thought and the response from your consultant was quick and the advice given was most helpful and easy to understand. I was very glad that you sent the link to print off in English and Chinese to take to the ticket office. The train stations are very big compared to UK and I was surprised that luggage is scanned the same as airport security. It was a bit chaotic as there are no queues as such but I managed it. The trains were on time, very clean and comfortable, with lots of staff available. The announcements were also in English as well as Chinese which I found most helpful....More

Your service was very good. Especially customer service. They helped me throughout our journey with my train tickets to Hong Kong. We also booked two soft sleepers and they were very comfortable. I was travelling with a friend of mine. Therefore, we always had to share our compartment with two strangers. We did not have any trouble at all. Furthermore, the ticket collection was very easy as well. If I would go back to China, I would immediately book again with your company.

Everything went very well, I was able to pick up the ticket with no problem and the journey itself was fine, very comfortable and on time. I would have no hesitation to use the same service if needed on a future visit to China.

Thank you for organising our train journey from Hong Kong to Beijing. Our train ticket collection at West Kowloom took some time but still smoothly. People need to be there earlier. The train left on time and it was a pleasant journey. We thank you for all your help in purchasing our tickets.
