There are two ticket offices with 28 ticketing windows involved. Passengers can take bus or taxi in the south square or the north square once they get off from the train.
There are two bus stops around Kunshan Train Station. Passengers can take any one of the buses below to reach to the railway station.

The North Square of Kunshan Railway Station: 1, 10, 12, 21, 53, 105, 106, 109, 118, 125, 210B, 410, 411 and 412.
Take city bus 88 to get to the south railway station directly.
Or take a taxi to get there. The fare is about CNY 15 and the duration is about 10 minutes.
Passenger can take city bus 1/ 10 to get to Tinglin Park directly.
Passengers can also take a taxi to go there. The fare is about CNY 20 and it may take about 15 minutes to get to Tinglin Park.
Passengers can take city bus Kunshan 88 to Kunshan South Railway Station, then transfer to city bus Kunshan 133 to get there. The city bus Kunshan 133 departs from 06:30 to 19:00 every 30 minutes.

Take city bus Kunshan 132 to Jingtang Road Shangshu Road, then walk north for about 100 meters (110 yards) to Shangshu East Road and walk west along the road for about 750 meters (820 yards) to get to Qiandeng Ancient Town.

Then it should be ordinary trains, hard seat is the cheapest option, but I would like to recommend a hard sleeper for this overnight journey, it will be more comfortable to sleep for the whole night instead of just sitting.
