Quanzhou Railway Station

Put into operation on Apr. 4, 2010, Quanzhou Railway Station is also named Quanzhou High Speed Railway Station. It is about 15 miles (24 kilometers) from Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, and 8.5 miles (13.5 kilometers) from the east railway station.

Address: Near the intersection of Puxian Road and Dongxi Main Road in Fengze District

An eleven acre (45,000 square meters) square is built in front of the station building. The bus stops are located on the ground floor of the square; while taxi stand and parking lot for private cars are located on B1 of the square. Beifeng Bus Station is located about 100 yards west from the railway station; it connects the railway station with other nearby cities very conveniently. Around the square, there are KFC, a small food city, and a Minnan local product shop.

The main building is made up of three floors. 33 ticket windows are distributed on the first and second floor. While all the waiting rooms are set on the second and third floor. There are sixteen escalators, five elevators as well as six obstacle-free elevators for passengers’ convenience. Wash rooms are available both outside and inside the station.

Main trains from Quanzhou Railway Station

The station operates high speed trains (D train) only and it connects the city with Shenzhen, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Chongqing, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Changsha, Shanghai, Nanjing and other cities. One thing to be mentioned is that except the four pairs, D2315/D2320, D681/D686, D2313/D2314, D2343/D2344 running between Quanzhou and Shenzhen North, all the others are passing through trains.

Transportation

How to go to / from Quanzhou Railway Station:

By bus: Take bus nos. 3, 17, 22, 33, 45, K1, 201, 202, 203, 208, 209, K602, or K901 and get off at Quanzhou High Speed Railway Station.

By taxi:
It takes about 30 minutes and costs CNY30 from the East Railway Station.
It takes about 35 minutes and costs CNY50 from the Jinjiang International Airport

How to reach other famous sites from the station:

1. to Qingjing Mosque:
Take bus no. 3 and get off at Fuwen Temple. After then, walk to the southeast for about 350 yards to reach the mosque.

2. to Heavenly Empress Palace (Tianhou Palace):
Take bus nos. 209 or K602 and get off at Jinshan South District. And then walk to the southeast for about 850 yards to reach the palace.

3. to East Railway Station:
Take bus no. 203 and get off at East Railway Station.

4. to Jinjiang International Airport:
Take bus 209 to Xindian. Walk across the road to Century Avenue and take bus 16 or K603 to the airport.

Quanzhou Station to Jinjiang International Airport

Is there a shuttle bus direct from this Station to Jinjiang International Airport. A change of bus is quite complicated. If there is no direct transportation by bus, how much approximately will a taxi cost?

bus k602 goes from Quanzhou station to the airport directly but it may take around 1.5 hours on the way. If by taxi, maybe only 40min. The costs maybe CNY60

yes, there are some high speed ride from Quanzhou. Most of them stop at Wuyishan East Station and some stop at Wuyishan North Station. After that you can take bus or taxi to reach Mt. Wuyishan.

Do you mean Quanzhou in Fujian? If yes, there are two stations: Quanzhou and Quanzhou East.

I will be arriving late evening at Quanzhou High Speed Railway Station. Can I get Taxi after 2300.

Taxi is usually in service for 24 hours, but fewer in deep night. It is still possible to find a taxi but some times, the drivers do not like to go by meter. The cost is for discussion

Usually most stations have left luggage office near the exit , entrance hall or ticket office. Sometimes lockers can be find in waiting area as well.
