Quanzhou Railway Station

Put into operation on Apr. 4, 2010, Quanzhou Railway Station is also named Quanzhou High Speed Railway Station. It is about 15 miles (24 kilometers) from Quanzhou Jinjiang International Airport, and 8.5 miles (13.5 kilometers) from the east railway station.

Address: Near the intersection of Puxian Road and Dongxi Main Road in Fengze District

An eleven acre (45,000 square meters) square is built in front of the station building. The bus stops are located on the ground floor of the square; while taxi stand and parking lot for private cars are located on B1 of the square. Beifeng Bus Station is located about 100 yards west from the railway station; it connects the railway station with other nearby cities very conveniently. Around the square, there are KFC, a small food city, and a Minnan local product shop.

The main building is made up of three floors. 33 ticket windows are distributed on the first and second floor. While all the waiting rooms are set on the second and third floor. There are sixteen escalators, five elevators as well as six obstacle-free elevators for passengers’ convenience. Wash rooms are available both outside and inside the station.  The station mainly operates high speed trains and it connects the city with Shenzhen, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Chongqing, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Changsha, Shanghai, Nanjing and other cities. One thing to be mentioned is that except the four pairs, D2315/D2320, D681/D686, D2313/D2314, D2343/D2344 running between Quanzhou and Shenzhen North, all the others are passing through trains. Only a few normal trains are running at the station, such as K8757/8758 and T8010/8009.
