 Yan'an Train station consists of a west square and a two-storey terminal building with an area of 23,900 square meters (28,584 square yards). It can accommodate 3,000 passengers at one time.

It is easy to find the ticket office or waiting hall by following the direction signs. Inside the wide waiting hall on the second floor, passengers can find the Lao Tong Guan Rou Jia Mo store to buy the Shaanxi Sandwich.

 Arrival by long-distance bus:
About 300 meters (328 yards) northward to Yan'an Train Station, Yan'an South Coach Station operates long-distance buses to/from Baishui, Dali, Weinan, Tongchuan, Hukou, Xian, Huangling, Luochuan, Xianyang, Huxian, Yangxian and Hanzhong etc.

Take bus no. 1, 18, K7, K11, K13, K18, K22, K30, K206, or tourist special bus line to go there.

 Date Garden
Take bus no. K13 or tourist special bus line to the destination.

 Hukou Waterfalls (Kettle Spout Falls)
Passengers can walk about 300 meters (328 yards) to Yan'an South Coach Station where they can take long-distance buses to Hukou Waterfalls. Duration is about 3 hours and ticket fare is CNY40 per person.
