The below itineraries introduce top 3 places to watch amazing shows in Beijing. Together with each show, we introduce one more destination nearby for you to have more fun at night.

Before the tour, our guide will contact you to final confirm which one among the three you will choose, and the location and time to pick you up, so as to provide you with satisfying service.

  Option 1: Red Theater Acrobatics Show + Qianmen Street & Tian’anmen Square, from $109 per person
Acrobatics in China is a traditional art form with over 2,000 years’ history. It has very high requirements for the performers like strong physical strength, flexible body, and the ability of keeping balance. In the performance, you may see the wire-walking, jar balance act, sword dance, etc. When watching the show, you will definitely marvel at the superb skills of the actors. 
 Show time: 17:30 – 18:30 on a daily basis; 19:00 – 20:00 on peak days
 How to get to Red Theater: Based on the location of your hotel, our guide will accompany you there by bus no. 6, 8, 34, 35, 36, 41, 54, 60, 72, 116, 957, 958, Special Line 2 or others. 

After the show, move on to Qianmen Street. The street stands on the central axis of the city and is lined up by many time-honored stores and restaurants, including Qianxiangyi Silk Store, China Bookstore, Quanjude Roast Duck, Duyichu Shaomai, and Yitiaolong Mutton Restaurant. The guide will accompany you to stroll northward to appreciate the antique buildings. And if needed, help you find a place to have dinner. At its northern end, stand the Qianmen Gate Tower and Archery Tower. Keep strolling northward, you will find the Tian'anmen Square, where the night view is also amazing.
 How to get there from Red Theater: At first take bus no.8 from nearby Beijing Stadium East to Anhualou, then take subway line 7 at the adjacent Guangqu Mennei station to Zhushikou, which is right by the southern end of the Qianmen Street.
 How to get back to your hotel: At last, the guide will send you back to your hotel by subway line 2 or line 8 from Qianmen or line 1 from Tian’anmen. 
  Option 2: Sanlitun + Chaoyang Theater Drum Music Show, from $109 per person
Sanlitun, the famous bar street in Beijing is especially popular among overseas tourists and local young people. There, you may find a quiet bar to enjoy a cup of drink, or a dynamic one to dance to the lively music. The Taikoo Li there is also worth visiting, which is a fashion landmark of the city and even the whole China, gathering many boutique shops and stores; there are also many restaurants providing both Chinese and western food. 
 How to get there: Take subway line 10 to Tuanjiehu and the walk westward to get there; or take buses no. 4, 43, 113, 115, 117, 406, 431…

Drum is one of the oldest music instruments in China with a history of about 3,000 years and still popular among the folks at present. In ancient times, they were widely used during hunting, war, sacrificial ceremonies, as well as for entertainment and time telling… During the long time of application, many sizes of drums come into being, making different sounds of high or low, far or close, grand or graceful… It is really a feast of ears to enjoy the music made by the drums. 
Show time: 20:45 - 21:45
 How to get there from Sanlitun: Bus no.113 will be the first choice, which has a stop in the core area of Sanlitun. If there is a traffic jam, the guide will then choose subway line 10, which may require a walking of about 1,000 meters (1,100 yards) in total; you will get on the subway train at Tuanjiehu and get off at Hujialou.
 How to get back to your hotel: The guide will accompany you to take subway line 10 at Hujialou; or buses no. 113, 140, 350, 368, Outter Ring Line, 405, 650, 671, 687…
  Option 3: Niujie Food Street + Liyuan Theatre Peking Opera, from $119 per person
Most dwellers in Niujie are Muslim, so you will have chances to taste some unique food of that ethnic minority, like beef patty, glutinous rice and date cake, and hand-pulled noodles with beef, as well as local Beijing snacks like fried chop rice cake (rolling donkey), pea cake, and sesame seed cake. 
 How to get there: Take subway line 19 to Niujie, or line 7 to Guang’anmennei then walk to Niujie; buses no. 10, 48, 50, 88 or special line 13 also have a stop nearby.  

As the most influential Chinese opera, Peking Opera has spread all over China and is regarded as the quintessence of Chinese culture. Historical stories are its main content. And the four means of presentation are singing, dialogue, dancing and martial arts. It has a routine in performance, music, make up and so on. Liyuan Theater is one of the best places to appreciate the opera in Beijing. It is not far from the Niujie Food Street, within 10 minutes’ driving away.
 Show Time: 19:30 – 20:50
 How to get there from Niujie: Take bus no.6 from Niujie Road Crossing East to Yong’an Road, then walk for about 300 meters (330 yards) to get there; or take subway line 7 from Guang’an Mengnei to Hufangqiao, then walk southward for about 400 meters (440 yards) to the theatre. 
 How to get back to hotel: Walk northward to Hufangqiao subway station to take subway line 7; or take 6, 7, 15, 34, 105 ...
