Lijiang Train Schedule

Located in Shangji Village of Yulong Naxi Autonomous County, Lijiang Railway Station is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Lijiang Old Town. As a major station along Kunming - Lijiang and Qujing-Kunming-Lijiang railways, Lijiang Railway Station only operates trains to/from Kunming, Dali, Qujing and other nearby cities. Direct trains from Lijiang to Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Guilin, Guangzhou, Chengdu and other far places are not available and most passengers choose to transfer in Kunming.

However, a flight trip may be more preferable sometimes, especially in low seasons. For instance, flights to Beijing from Lijiang Airport take about 3.5 - 4 hours and the ticket fare may lower to CNY630 (USD 86.95) in low season; flights to Shanghai take around 3 - 3.5 hours and the ticket fare may be low to CNY460 (USD 63.49) when discounts are offered by the airlines; flights to Xian may just cost CNY385 (USD 53.14) for a 2-hour journey; flights to Guangzhou take about 2.5 hours and the ticket fare may be low to CNY500 (USD 69.01) when discounts are offered by the airlines in low season; flights to Chengdu take about 1.5 hours and the ticket fare may be low to CNY400 (USD 55.21) when a great discount is provided in low season.
