Qingdao West Railway Station
Qingdao West Railway Station is located in West Coast New District, about 60 kilometers (37 miles) from city center. It is along Qingdao – Yancheng Railway and Jinan – Qingdao High Speed Railway, and linked with major cities in China such as Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Lianyungang and Hefei by high speed train.

Major Rail Lines from the station to: Qingdao West Train Station consists of two terminals: the east and west terminals. They are connected with each other inside. The waiting rooms are in the second floor. Passengers can leave Qingdao West Train Station through the underground passage, once they get off from the high speed train.
The bus stop is located to the south of the east entrance. Passengers can get there by bus 66, 109, 306, 806, K19, K20, K21, West 2A, Kaifaqu 806, Huangdao 66, Huangdao K19 and Huangdao K22.
In the future, metro line 6 and metro line 13 will be extended to Qingdao West Railway Station.
Take city bus Huangdao K21 or West 2A to Western Government Office Center (Jiguan Xibu Bangong Zhongxin), then transfer to Qingxi Express Line to Xilingxia Road Railway Station and walk about 110 meters (120 yards) to get there.
Take city bus Qingdao K21 to Xincheng Wuyue Square, then transfer to city bus Suidao 7 in the same stop to Xilingxia Road Railway Station and transfer to city bus 304 to Dadonghe Customer Service Centre. Passengers can see Mt. Laoshan Scenic Area after walking about 260 meters (280 yards).
Take city bus Huangdao K21 to Fenghuangdu, then transfer to city bus Suidao 5 to Lanshan Road Railway Station and walk about 400 meters (440 yards) along Lanshan Road to get there.
Take city bus Huangdao K21 to Fenghuangdu, then transfer to city bus Suidao 6 to Nanhai Road. After getting off, walk west for about 300 meters (330 yards) to get there.
Take city bus Huangdao K21 to Fenghuangdu, then transfer to city bus Suidao 6 to Tiantai Stadium. After, go east along Wushengguan Road and turn right at the first crossing, keep walking for about 400 meters (440 yards) to get there.

I will take a train to Qingdao West station firstly, and I will have to connect another train departing from Qingdao North, how to get there, a taxi or metro? I am worried as I have no ideas about the transfer.

00ReplyDon’t worry, actually, the best way is to take a train between these two stations. There is no need to exit and enter again if next train is within one hour. The train takes about 40 minutes and it is more convenient then other ways.

00ReplyBy taxi, it may take around 1 hour on the way. If for bus, you should need to change buses on the way. Or you may consider to take a train from Qingdao West to North Station first. I saw there are 6 rides a day. Not sure if they can fit your time or not. Then you can use metro at North Station to downtown.

00ReplyYou can check the schedule on this website in their main page. From what I can see, there are 8 high speed rides a day, from 9am to 17:45p. These trains take around 1.5 hours on the way and cost CNY66 for second class seat. They all stop at this West Station.
