Xuzhou East Railway Station is about 7 miles (12 kilometers) from Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Han Dynasty, 16 miles (25 kilometers) from Guishan Han Tomb, 12 miles (20 kilometers) from Han City and Quanshan National Forest Park , 6 miles (10 kilometers) from Xuzhou Railway Station, 11 miles (18 kilometers) from Yunlong Mountain and 30 miles (50 kilometers) from Guanyin International Airport.

 Xuzhou East Train Station is one of the major stations along Beijing-Shanghai High Speed Railway, specializing in bullet trains. The major destinations include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Huangshan and Hangzhou.

Platform of Xuzhou East Railway Station

Currently, the station has a terminal building, and the west and east squares.

The current terminal building has two floors: 
 2F: waiting hall, check-points, hot drinking water, Mc Donald’s, restaurants, toilets
 1F: police office, ticket office, entrance/exit, waiting hall

Below the west square is the underground commercial area, where passengers can find restaurants, taxi stands and parking lot. The city bus stations are also on this square.

On the east square, there is a long distance bus station on its south side. It provides buses to Fengxian, Peixian, Pizhou, Xinyi, Suining and other cities around Xuzhou City. Upon arrival at the railway station, passengers can use the underground passage to get to the bus station. It just takes five minutes. To reach the railway station from the bus station, passengers need to go above ground and the underground passage is not available.
  Arrival by metro:
Metro line 1 can arrive at the East Train Station directly which operates from 06:00 to 22:00 with a highest cost of CNY 5.

 Arrival by bus: 
City bus line 3, 10, 26, 32, 56, 70, 72, 80, 90, 96, 112, 808, 815, Airport shuttle bus line 3 & 4 stop near west square. Only airport shuttle bus line 3 arrives at the long-distance coach station in the east square.

Those who have tickets can enter the station directly and go to the waiting hall on the second floor. Those without tickets should buy a ticket at the ticket office to the left side of the entrance first.

 Arrival by taxi:
Both squares have the taxi stand located in the underground parking lot. So if you plans to go by taxi, tell the driver which taxi stands to get off.

 Passengers should pass the west square or east square to find the entrance. Behind the entrance is the security check and ticket check, after which they need to go upstairs to reach the waiting hall on 2F. When it’s time for boarding, your ticket will be checked again at the boarding gates. Those with blue tickets can go through the auto gates to reach the platform. Those with red tickets should have their tickets checked manually by staff.

 

Inside A Second Class Carriage

Upon arrival, passengers will be led to exits on west and east squares from the underground passage.
Leave by metro:
After leaving the station platform, follow the signs to the metro station.

 Leave by bus:
If you plan to take public buses, you are recommended to use the west exit to reach west square, as the bus station is located on its south side. If you are going to take airport shuttle bus to downtown or the airport, go to east square.

 Leave by taxi:
Exiting the railway station from the underground passage, passengers can follow the direction boards to find the taxi stands easily.

 Transportation to famous sites:
 Museum of Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses of Han Dynasty:
Take bus no. 72, and get off at Guozhuang Crossing Station. Then walk around 550 yards (500 meters) toward north to get there.

 Guishan Han Tomb:
Take bus no. 32, and get off at Pengcheng Restaurant Station. Then change bus no. 37 to get off at Guishan Han Tomb Station.

 Quanshan National Forest Park:
Take bus no. 72, and get off at Fenghuayuan Station. Then change tourism bus line 1 (You 1) to get off at Quanshan Park Station.

 Yunlong Mountain:
Take bus no. 72, and get off at Minfuyuan Station. Then change bus no. 49 to get off at Shida Beimen Station and walk around 400 yards (366 meters) toward west to get there.

 Xuzhou Railway Station:
Take bus no. 3, 10, 26 or 80 to get there.

 Guanyin International Airport:
Take airport shuttle bus from the long distance bus station on the east square. It departs at 08:30, 10:10, 14:10 and 18:10. Bus fare is CNY 20 per person. Duration is about 50 minutes.
Or take high speed trains from East Railway Station to Guanyin Airport Railway Station first which takes CNY 9 - 15 for second class seat and only 15 minutes, then go to the airport by free shuttle bus.
  Ticket Office:
Staffed ticket office is located to the left side of the entrance on the west square. Passengers can purchase, change or refund their tickets there. Self-service ticket office is to the right side of the entrance. However, the self-service ticket machines only recognize Chinese ID cards; foreign passengers cannot use them.

 Waiting Hall:
There are two waiting halls in the station. One is on the first floor and the other is on the second floor. However, all passengers are required to have their tickets checked on the second floor. After checking in, they can get onboard from the correct platform.

 Wifi:
It has covered most areas of the terminal building, including waiting halls and ticket offices.
