How to Travel from Beijing to Daxing Airport: Subway, Shuttle Bus, Train & Taxi

Getting from central Beijing to Daxing International Airport (PKX) is easy with four main options： 
 Taking the subway to Daxing Airport is a reliable option if you travel light or want to avoid traffic jams. The Daxing Airport Express Line starts from Caoqiao transfer hub to the airport. Caoqiao is connected with other parts of Beijing by Subway Line 10 which passes by Guomao, Wangfujing, and Beijing South Railway Station. Check-in and baggage drop services are available at the Caoqiao City Terminal inside the station.

 Daxing Airport Shuttle Buses run from major downtown locations including Guomao, Temple of Heaven, Zhongguancun, Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station, and Beijing South Railway Station. Traveling from Beijing's most visited districts and landmarks to Daxing Airport by airport shuttle bus, you don’t need to navigate multiple subway transfers with heavy luggage. However, traffic delays are possible and departures are less frequent than the Daxing Airport Express.

 The high-speed train departs from Beijing West Railway Station and reaches Daxing Airport in less than 35 minutes, very fast. It is an ideal choice for travelers staying near Beijing West Station or just arriving there from other cities to catch the flight. However, the boarding process at the station including security check and waiting takes longer than entering the subway or catching the airport shuttle bus.

 Taxis and ride hailing services can pick you up anywhere in the city and send you door-to-door to the airport. It is the most convenient option, especially if you have heavy luggage or are traveling with little kids or elderly people who find it hard to walk long distances. However, it is the most expensive option with fares from CNY 100 to 250 (USD 14 to 36) depending on distance and traffic, and there is a risk of delays due to road congestion.
