Questions & Answers on Beijing Daxing International Airport
Asked by Duy Luu from USA | May. 25, 2023 12:46Reply
Late train/bus
My flight arrives in PKX at 9:20pm. Is there any hotel nearby the airport? Should I take a train/metro to go to the city and stay there overnight? When is the last train/bus/metro to go to the city? My flight to Korea departs 2 days later. Can I leave my luggage at the airport for 2 days? This is going to be my first time in China so I'm a little bit nervous. Thank you!

As most metros generally stop at between 23:00 and 0:00, it is more recommended for you to take a metro to Beijing downtown area.

Don't worry, your time is enough. Of course, you can store your luggage at the airport, at certain charge.

Service location
One is in the vicinity of Jingdong counter in the east of domestic arrival hall on the second floor.
One is in the tail of Island H in the east of departure hall on the fourth floor.

The service time of the east departure hall on the fourth floor is from 7:00 am to 22:00 pm.

Change airport in Beijing and 2 transits in China (Beijing and Xiamen) in less than 24 hours
Hello, I am an Indonesian passport holder, I want to return to Indonesia from Russia. I will transfer the plane in Beijing (6 hours) but at a different airport, from Russia my plane will land at Daxing airport, then I will continue my journey from Beijing international airport, then I will transit again in Xiamen (9 hours). Can I apply for a free 24-hour visa with a route like that or do I have to apply for an entry visa because I will transit 2 times in 2 different cities? Thank You

Rofika, if your transfer times in Beijing (6 hours) and in Xiamen (9 hours) are calculated in a correct and precise way, this means that your whole transit time in China will be 15 hours. Again, if you have calculated correctly, you are perfectly eligible for 24 hours visa free transit in China and you do not need any kind of visa!

It is important to understand that under the 24 hours visa free transit a passenger has a right to travel among different areas of China, but only within 24 hours time frame. Again, if you have correctly calculated your entire transit time, everything you need are your flight tickets and the passport. Of course, at the time being PCR or antigen test are also required and the test should not older than 48 hours at the time of boarding your China bound flight.

Hi. I will be travelling from Ordos, Inner Mongolia, to Beijing and arriving at Daxing airport.
Will I only have to scan the green code? Or do I need a Covid test as well? I haven't left China since I arrived in February 2020.

As I know, you only need to show the green code. But in order to be sure, you are suggested to consult the staff when you arriving at the airport.
