To get to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, it is advised to arrive in Zhangjiajie City first. Tourists can get to Zhangjiajie by train or by air or take a coach from nearby cities. In Zhangjiajie, direct buses and taxis are convenient ways to the national park.

Three recommended ways to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Flight + Bus: Take a flight to Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport, then take city bus no. 4 or taxi to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, then take a bus to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

Train + Bus: Take a train to Zhangjiajie Railway Station or West Railway Station; after, take a direct bus or taxi to the destination.

Coach + Bus: Take a long-distance coach to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, then change to a local direct bus to the scenic spot.

Arrive in Zhangjiajie By Train

Two railway stations operate in Zhangjiajie, Zhangjiajie Railway Station and Zhangjiajie West Railway Station. Zhangjiajie West Railway Station, about 21 km (13 mi) to National Forest Park, is the nearest railway station to the scenic spot. Zhangjiajie Railway Station is 40 km (25 mi) from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Whichever you arrive at, there are direct buses sending you to the national park.

By Bus

From Zhangjiaijie Railway Station: 1h; CNY 13
Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, on the northwest of Zhangjiajie Railway Station, operates frequent direct buses to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park from 07:00 - 17:00 and the bus journey takes about 60 minutes and CNY 13.

The bus station also operates direct buses to the ticket office of Tianzi Mountain Scenic Area, taking CNY 11 and 70 minutes. There tourists can also buy the ticket package for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

From Zhangjiajie West Railway Station: 40min; CNY 13
Zhangjiajie High Speed Rail Bus Station beside the railway station offers direct bus service to Wulingyuan (also Zhangjiajie National Forest Park). The buses run from 07:45 - 16:10 and take 40 minutes.

By Taxi

From Zhangjiajie Railway Station: 40-50min; CNY 120-150

From Zhangjiajie West Railway Station: 35-40min; CNY 75-90

Arrive in Zhangjiajie By Air

City Bus + Direct Bus: 1.5h; CNY 15

At the airport, take the bus no. 4 to Wuling Natural Specialties Tourism Shopping Mall, taking CNY 2 and 45 minutes. Then walk to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station to take a direct bus to Wulingyuan.

Taxi + Direct Bus: 1h; CNY 33

Take a taxi from the airport to Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station, taking CNY 20 and 15-20 minutes. Then get on the direct bus to Wulingyuan at the bus station.

Arrive in Zhangjiajie By Coach

If you travel to Zhangjiajie by coach, then you will arrive in Zhangjiajie Central Bus Station which will offer you a seamless journey to Wulingyuan by taking a direct bus to Wulingyuan.

Beijing to zhangjiajie

How to get to zhangjiajie from Beijing? Is it possible to arrive at zhangjiajie in the morning?

There is one direct flight arriving at 21:10 and four direct trains running between. You can take train no. Z295 to arrive in Zhangjiajie at 05:15.

Hello what would be the best way to travel from lijiang to Zhangjiajie ?

From Lijiang to Zhangjaijie, no direct flight or train available. You will need transfers.
By flight: 6h at least with 1.5h layover, CNY 1,000-3,000.
By train: 25 hours at least, CNY 658.5 for a 2nd class seat and a soft sleeper.
Suggested trains: C456 + K474

Hi, you can take a bus from the bus station near West Railway Station to Wulingyuan Bus Station. It takes about CNY 13 for about an 1- hour journey. Upon arrival, you can take bus line 3 from Wulingyuan Bus Station to Gaoyun Community, taking only about 20 mins.

You can also take a taxi directly to your hotel, which takes around CNY 80-100.
