Zhangjiajie West Railway Station

Zhangjiajie West Railway Station is one of the only 2 railway stations in Zhangjiajie. All the high speed trains in Zhangjiajie are operated here. In addition, a part of normal speed trains also stop here. It is about 8.5 kilometers (5 miles) to the city center, 21 kilometers (13 miles) to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, 11 kilometers (7 miles) to Zhangjiajie Railway Station and about 9 kilometers (5.5 miles) to Hehua International Airport. It is convenient to travel from the Station to major attractions by city bus. From the adjacent Tourist Distributing Center, one can take a long-distance bus to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park directly.

Zhangjiajie West Railway Station Entrance

→exit the West Railway Station, walk for 1 minute to the Tourist Distributing Center, which is at the right side of the Railway Station’s exit
→take a direct bus to Wulingyuan Bus Station, costing CNY13 and taking about 1 hour;
→walk for 15 minutes to arrive at the east gate of the Forest Park

From the distributing center, there are also buses leaving for Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Seven Star Mountain.
 →Take city bus line 4, 6, or 17 at the High Speed Railway Station Bus Stop, costing CNY2
→Get off at Wuling Shanzhenguan Bus Stop if taking bus Line 4 and 17; or at South Guanyin Bridge Bus Stop if taking bus Line 6;
→Walk for 1 – 2 minutes to the lower station of Tianmen Mountain Cable Car;
→Take a cable car to the summit of the mountain or take the free shuttle bus to the entrance of the mountain.

 Buses No. 4, 6, 7, 16, 17 would take you to the West Railway Station from Zhangjiajie downtown, some of which also stop by Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport and Zhangjiajie Railway Station.
