History: The city's history can be traced back more than four thousand years according to the elaborate articles of black pottery that have been excavated in the area. Yu the Great dredged nine rivers to control flooding and five of the rivers run through it. Dezhou Region was established in 1950 and promoted to being a regional city in 1994.

Physical Features: It is situated in an alluvial plain formed by the Yellow River. Historically, twice the river channels diverted, and it burst its banks over a thousand times. Tomb of the Sulu East King
Hi we will be traveling to Beijing next week and we plan to do a day trip to Dezhou, particularly the Sulu East King tomb. We are planning to take the bullet train from Beijing South Railway station to DZ East railway station. Is this correct? Then from the East station we plan to hail a taxi through Didi mobile taxi app. Is this a good plan? We plan to be back in Beijing by 6PM or 7PM. Is this possible? Thank you

Oh, you got it. It is right at Beijing South Train Station where you can take a high speed train to DZ East after 1h and 20min. After that, call a car through Didi to the tomb within 20min or so at a cost of CNY50-60. The round trip in a day can be achieved and the last train goes back to Beijing at 22:10.

Have a good trip!

You can take a plane to land at Jinnan International Airport first. It's about 62 miles (100 kilometers) away from ur destination. Then there are several coaches that can take you to DZ Bus Station. They depart at 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00 and 20:00. The duration is about 2 hours.
