Dali Railway Station
Dali Railway Station is about 8 miles (12.8 kilometers) from Dali Airport, 12 miles (19 kilometers) from Dali Ancient City, 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) from Erhai Lake, 12.5 miles (20 kilometers) from Mt. Cangshan (Cangshan Mountain), and 12 miles (19 kilometers) from Three Pagodas.

The newly built station consists of a three-storey terminal building and the front square.
2F: check points 3 - 6, nursery room, toilets, business class lounge

Arrival by bus:
At Railway Station Bus Stop: 17, 1, 21, 5, 8, Xiaguan - Haidong Special Line, Express Tourist Bus Line
At East Bus Station: 10, 1
At Xiaguan Bus Stop: 4, 8, Express Tourist Bus Line
Passengers arriving by bus will get off at the Weishan Road in front of the station. Passengers with a ticket should go to the correct waiting area on the first or second floor. Passengers without tickets should go to the ticket office on the first floor to purchase one first and then go to the waiting area and wait for the departure.
Arrival by taxi:
If getting to the station by taxi, passengers will be dropped off at elevated drop-off area on B1.
Before checking in, please read your ticket booking information carefully to know where to have your ID document checked. After checking-in, follow the direction boards to the platforms to board.
Upon arrival, all passengers will be led to the exit hall to get out. After exiting, one can take bus or taxi to leave the station.
Leave by city bus to famous sites:
Dali Ancient City:
Take bus no. 8, 4 or Express Tourist Bus Line to the destination.
Erhai Park:
Take Xiaguan - Haidong Special Line to get there.
Yan's Compound of Bai Minority in Xizhou:
Take bus No.8 to North Bus Station where the direct bus to Xizhou is available. It costs CNY 8 per person.
Leave by long-distance bus:
About 700 yards to the northeast of the Railway Station, one can find Dali Coach Station (the new one). Passengers can go there and take a coach to Lijiang Old Town, Kunming, Tengchong, and Jinghong, etc.
The departure time may flucate on passenger flow. Just for reference.
Ticket office:
Ticket office is located on the first floor. Passengers can purchase, refund or change tickets in the tickets office.
Waiting room:
Passengers can find a seat inside the waiting rooms either on the first floor or on the second floor. Cell Phone Charging Station, toilets and hot drinking water are provided in the waiting room. Two business class lounges can be seen on F1 and F2, respectively.
Left luggage:
Self-service luggage cabinet is available next to the entrance of business class lounge. Many stores outside the station offer left luggage service, charing CNY 10 - 20/piece a day.

Schedule and Ticket Booking
As the terminal stop of Kunming-Dali Rail Line and the starting point of Dali-Lijiang Rail Line, the station mainly operates high speed trains to nearby cities such as Kunming, Lijiang and Shangri-La and domestic major cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, etc. Normal trains also depart from the station with a destination in Lijiang.
