The most convenient station to use should be Shenyang Railway Station where you can take subway line 1 to Qigongjie. The hotel is just there nearby.

This is Roger from Ireland. I wondering which station is more convenient for me to use?
I plan to stay at Ibis Harbin Normal University. I am not sure which station is closer to this hotel and convenient for transfer. Does anyone know about this information? Thank you.

Hello Roger! The hotel is closer to Harbin station, the main station. If by bus, you may take No. 338. West Station is the next closer one, but it is not convenient to go by bus. It is better to use taxi directly.

There is no railway station in the airport. You need to go to one of the railway station in Shenyang first and then go to Dalian by rail.

You may take metro line 3 first to Yi Da Er Yuan and then change to line 1 to Xxi Da Qiao, exit 2b. Then you need to walk about 300m to the northeast to find bus stip of bus 119. After 9 bus stops, you will reach the Ice and Snow World. You may also use bus 96 to Tie Lu Jie, the 9t stop and then change to bus 119 again. Surely, the most direct way would be taxi which takes around 20 to 30min and costs CNY40.

Ticket price difference
Both D28 and G394 go from Harbin West Station to Shenyang North Station but the ticket price is much higher on G394. Why are they different? Because G394 is faster?

By the way, how early should I reach the station if I will take a train around 7am? Is the metro already in service at this early morning time? Thank you.

Yes, G type is a faster one and the price could be higher. If you do not mind to spend a little longer time on the way, cheaper D rides could be good. I think the metro service starts at 6am. If you will need to collect the paper tickets at station, it would be better if you can reach station at least 1 hour before departure. So the time is very limited to use metro service.
