 The rail line between Shenzhen and Shanwei is one important component of Xiamen - Shenzhen High Speed Railway which has a distance of around 514 km (319 mi). The major railway stations set along this line include Huiyang, Shenzhen Pingshan, Huizhou South, Huidong South and Houmen.
 Passengers who want to travel between Shenzhen and Shanwei can also take coach as another choice. Nowadays, there are frequent departures with an interval of around 30 minutes from different bus stations between these two cities from 07: 30 to 20:00.
