No, the last one departs at 18:55 from Hankou to Hefei. BTW, the last one from Wuhan station leaves at 20:54. So you may need to stay one night in the city.

The high speed trains to Hefei depart from Hankou Railway Station or Wuhan Railway Station. Hankou Station is more easily to be reached. From the airport, you may take metro line 2 to get there directly, taking 45 minutes or so.

Don't worry. Baggage is allowed onboard. There are luggage shelves above the seats and luggage cabinets at the connections of two carriages.

My daughter is 1.5 meters high, should I buy adult ticket or child ticket for her?

Thank you for your inquiry.

According to the policy, child under 150cm can buy child ticket. It would be better if you buy an adult ticket for your daughter. If you want to have a try of child ticket, it is also OK. However, please prepare some cash with you. If the height is questioned by the train staff, you need to pay a price difference for that. Hope for your advanced notice.

In fact the nearest one should be Wuchang Station, but there are only 3 rides a day from there to Hefei. The distance to the rest two stations are almost the same, so both would work if Wuchang station option cannot fit for your time.

Is Hefei South a big Station?
How long it would take me to change to another train from Hefei to Huangshan? I can have both tickets delivered to my hotel in advance if it helps. What if I am late or the train delays?

There should be some "transfer" service for passengers who transfer within 30min. You do not need to go through the security check again so it will save you a lot of time. You do need to have both tickets in hand in advance. If unfortunately the trip from Wuhan delayed, the station will consider this situation. They can change you to other later rides or offer you a refund.
