Zhangye Railway Station operates normal speed trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’an, Lanzhou, Dunhuang, Xining, Jiayuguan and etc. It is about 7 kilometers (4 miles) from city center, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) from Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Zhangye West Railway Station and about 30 kilometers (19 miles) from Zhangye Ganzhou Airport.

How to Get to Zhangye Railway Station

Passengers can take city bus 1 to get to the railway station directly.
 

How to Get to Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park from Zhangye Railway Station

There is no direct public transportation to get to Zhangye Danxia Geological Park from the train station. Passengers need to take city bus 1 to bus stop Industrial and Commercial Bank (Gongshang Yinhang), then go west along East Street for about 800 meters (880 yards) to Xihuan Road and walk north along the road for about 200 meters (220 yards) to get to Long Distance Bus Terminal. There are direct long distance buses which depart every hour from 9:00-12:00, at 15:30 and 16:30 to Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park. The ticket fare is CNY 10 and the duration is about one hour.

Charting a car to Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park is also a good choice. A four-seat car costs about CNY 200 per day.

Or go there by taxi. The fare is about CNY 50 and the duration is about one hour.
 

How to Get to Zhangye West Railway Station from Zhangye Railway Station

Take city bus 1 to Electric Power Supply (Gongdiansuo), then walk to the nearby South Coach Station to take city bus New 1 to get there.

A direct taxi ride may take about 25 minutes and cost about CNY 30.
 

How to Get to Zhangye Ganzhou Airport from Zhangye Railway Station

Passengers can take city bus 1 to bus stop Industrial and Commercial Bank, then walk west East Street to Electronic Power Building (Dianli Dasha) and take airport shuttle bus. Passengers need to take the airport bus based on their flight schedule. The duration is about 1.5 hours and the ticket fare is CNY 20.

If take a taxi to go there, the fare is about CNY 50 and taxi ride may take about 40 minutes.
 

How to Get to Other Scenic Spots from Zhangye Railway Station

Passengers can take city bus 1 to bus stop Postal Savings Bank of China (Youzheng Chuxu Yinhang), then walk north along Xuanfu Street for about 200 meters (220 yards) to get to Wooden Pagoda Temple.

Taking a taxi may cost CNY25, and the travel time is about 20 minutes.
 Take city bus 1 to Postal Savings Bank of China, then walk to the temple.

Or take a taxi to go there directly, costing about CNY 25. It may take about 20 minutes to go to Giant Buddha Temple.

Wooden Pagoda Temple and Giant Buddha Temple are near from each other. Visitors can visit the two scenic spots together.
