Xi'an Metro Line 15

Xi’an Metro Line 15 is an east-west express line running through southern Xi’an. With a total length of 19.46 kilometers (12.1 miles), the line traverses the High-tech Zone, Chang’an University Town, and Aerospace Industrial Base. With transfers with line 2, line 4 and line 6, passengers are able to reach core city areas easily.

The most eye-catching feature of Xi’an Metro Line 15 is its deepest Huangzipo Station. Its long escalator is approximately 150 meters (164 yard) long with a lifting height of over 30 meters (98.4 ft), making it the longest subway escalator in Xi’an. Furthermore, the elevation difference between Huangzipo and the next station Hangtiancheng reaches 80 meters (262.5 ft), making it the station with the deepest burial depth in the loess strata in China.
