To go from Zhuhai to Zhongshan, do I need to buy a ticket in advance?
I may take a bus to reach Zhuhai and plan to use light rail service to Zhongshan. Do I have to buy a ticket in advance or I can get one at station upon arrival? Thank you.

It should be no problem to get ticket upon arrival unless you are traveling during public holiday. Personally speaking, if you will reach Zhuhai by bus, the total duration may not easy to control. It is better to buy ticket on spot.

Standing tickets Guangzhou to Zhongshan?
I was informed that the railway system only offer standing tickets with same price as second class seat. Is there any other way to get guaranteed second class seat?

I met this problem before! Some of them only offer standing tickets but you can sit on free seats after boarding. Some of them have assigned seats. Not sure why they are arranged in this way. Or you can choose first class seat which would be assigned seats.

The duration by ferry should be around 70min. Based on the information I found online, it runs at 9:50am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm and 8:30pm. The ticket price is HKD260 for normal seats. by this ferry from HK airport, you are only make a transfer so immigration and customs checks are not involved in HK.
