Tai’an Railway Station

Tai’an Railway Station operates high speed trains to/from Beijing, Shanghai, Jinan, Qufu, Qingdao, Nanjing, and etc.

It is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from city center, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) from Mount Taishan and about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Taishan Railway Station.

How to Get to Tai’an Railway Station

Passengers can find three bus stops near the railway station:

Platform

Tai’an High Speed Railway Station: 17/K17, 18/K18, 23/K23, 27/K27, 34/K34, 37/K37, 38/K38, 40, 44/K44, 47/K47, 56/K56, Tourism Bus No.61 and Tourism Bus No.62.
Dongyuexin City: 17/K17, 18/K18, 27/K27, 34/K34, 38/K38, 40, 44/K44, 56/K56 and 66/K66.
High Speed Railway Bus Terminal: 402 and Tai’an-Xintai.

Any one of the bus mentioned above can take you to Tai’an Train Station.

How to Get to Mount Taishan from Tai’an Railway Station

Take Tourism Bus No.2, Tourism Bus No.3 or bus 37/K37 to get to Tianwai Village which is at the foot of Mount Taishan.

Or take a taxi to get to Mount Taishan, costing about CNY 20. It may take about 30 minutes to get there.

How to Get to Taishan Railway Station from Tai’an Railway Station

Passengers can take city bus 34/K34 to get to the railway station directly.

Or passengers can get there by taxi. The fare is about CNY 20 and the duration is about half an hour.

How to Get to Famous Scenic Spots from Tai’an Railway Station

Dai Temple

Take city bus 17/K17 to Linxiao Playground, then walk east along Daizong Street for about 200 meters (220 yards) and turn right to Hongmen Road. Walk for about 300 meters (330 yards) and passengers can find the temple.

Passengers can also get there by taxi. The fare is about CNY 20 and the duration is about 35 minutes.

Culaishan National Forest Park

Passengers can take bus Tai’an-Xintai to the Old Tai’an Bus Terminal, then walk east for about 300 meters (330 yards) to transfer to city bus 219 to Culaishan National Forest Park.

Passengers can also get to Culaishan National Forest Park by taxi costing about CNY 60. The duration is about 45 minutes.

How to get to Dai Temple from Tai’an station?

We will take train to Tai’an in the afternoon and plan to visit Mt. Taishan the next day. So, how can we plan for the arrival afternoon, is Dai Temple worth a visit?

Tai Temple is a good place, and it is closed to Tai’an train station. You can take a taxi and the taxi fee is about CNY20-25 as mentioned above.

Train G263, Carriage 2, seat 11A, 11B, 11C

May I know if our seats is near the carriage door?

For this G263, there should be 17 rows in second class carriage, so your seats is not very close to the carriage. Hope this information can help you.

Tai'an Railway Station Bus to Hongmen

Tai'an Railway Station To Hongmen Gate: Is Bus Stop for 37 or 61 in front of the station? Does the bus stop at Hongmen front door? How long is the bus drive each direction? Thanks!

bus 61 is the tourist line, it stop at Hongmen where you can start the climbing. bus 37 will not stop there directly but nearby at the Hushan Park area. You need to walk a little bit but too long, maybe like about 600 or 700m. The bus would take about 1 to 1.5 hours.

There are lockers inside the waiting room, you can use them.
