Zhangjiakou Railway Station
Currently, Zhangjiakou Railway Station is the only station for passenger use in the city. It is about 5 miles (8 km) away from the city center, about 12 miles (20 km) to Zhangjiakou Ningyuan Airport and about 34 miles (55 km) from Chongli County, where skiing venues of 2022 Winter Olympics are located.

See detailed Zhangjiakou Train Schedule Major Rail Lines from Zhangjiakou to: The ticket office is set up on the west side of the station building. Travelers can purchase tickets or collected pre-booked tickets there by using travel documents and ticket pick up numbers. With paper ticket in hand, passengers can go through the security check to enter the waiting hall and waiting for ticket checking and boarding. In the waiting hall, there are small shops selling snacks and bottled drinks.
The exit is located on the east side of the main building. After arrival, passengers can follow the crowds to the exit.
There is a taxi pick up point to the east side of the station and right in front of the exit. Except taxi service, a few city buses are in service as well including bus No. 1, 10, 11, 15, 19, 33, 106, 108 and 301. The bus stops are set up along the West Zhanqian Street and Century Avenue.
There is also a Zhangjiakou South Coach Center nearby which offers coach service to cities including Hohhot, Datong, Jining in Inner Mongolia etc.
To Genting Resort Secret Garden: Travelers can take bus No. 10 to the Zhangjiakou Coach Station (which is also known as North Coach Station) and then take a coach to Chongli Town. From Chongli, travelers can take a taxi to get there.
To Jiming Post House: Travelers can take a train to Xiahuayuan and then take a taxi to the post house. The train ticket fare is CNY11 per person for hard seat and the taxi costs around CNY10 to 15.
To Nuanquan Ancient Town: Travelers can take bus No. 10 to the Zhangjiakou Coach Station and then take a coach to Yuxian. After arrival, passengers can take a taxi to the ancient town at around CNY50.
To Tianmo Desert: Travelers can take a train to Shacheng first and then walk about 3,000 yards to the Huailai County Taxation Bureau to take the bus No. 880 to Tongzhuang Village. Then walk about 2,500 yards to the destination.
