There is no shuttle bus from airport to Huangshan, but you may found some private car and taxi. The shuttle bus to downtown is running according to the flight schedule, so should be no problem to use. The airport is not very far from downtown, you can use taxi too.

You could not take bus directly to Taiping Cableway. Firstly you need to find Huangshan Tourism Passegner Transport Hub, which is close to the North Railway Station, you could take bus at the hub to Huangshan scenic area. Then, you could take the bus inside the scenic area to get Taiping Cableway.

There is bus from the North Station to the South Gate which takes around 1 hour. After that you may choose to take bus to Wenquan transfer station and then change bus to Yungusi. The cable should work from 7am to 4:30pm (but seems you have to buy a ticket before 4pm, not sure about this). I am not sure how long will it take from the cable car to hotel, it seems some distance for hiking. Maybe it is better to ask the hotel about the hiking route and time.

Bus from Huangshan North Railway Station to Tangkou
I'm planning to visit Huangshan arriving to Huangshan North Railways Station at 22:15. I would like to know if it is possible to find buses at that time running from the station to Tangkou. In case there's no bus service at that time, what time they start in the morning?
Thank you!

Héféi Huangshan
I’d like to go on the Yellow Montain from Héféi. I have just one afternoon and two full days. What is the best option to stay, let’s say, one day on the montain and one in some old village? Is the speed train line leaving at Héféi South and arriving at Huangshan North? What should I do when I arrive there? Thank you.

Yes. There are high speed trains available between with a duration of around 1.5 to 2 hours。

When you arrive at Huangshan North Railway Station, you can take a tour bus or taix in the front square of the station to the transfer center of Mt. Huangshan. The buses depart from 08:00 to 20:20, while the taxi ride costs around CNY 160. Upon arrival, you may transfer the bus to Yungu Temple to buy the entrance tickets with the cable car ticket to White Goose Ridge, which will save more time for climbing. Stay overnight at a hotel on the mountain to appreciate the stunning sunset and sunrise. Next morning, down to the hill and take Yuping cable car to Tangkou. After that, transfer to Hongcun Village and stay a night there. On the third day, you can walk around the village and visit some other villages according to your own time. Hope the information helps.
