How to Get to Yellow Mountain from Huangshan Railway Station

1. Take Tunxi - Yellow Mountain Bus in the square of the railway station to Tangkou Town. The bus is reachable between 05:30 and 17:00 every 30 minutes. Duration is about an hour and ticket fare is CNY20. Then go to Zhaixi Transfer Center to take the sightseeing bus to Yellow Mountain. The ticket fare of the sightseeing bus is about CNY 19 and the travel time is about 30 minutes.

2. Take city bus 21 to Huangshan Bus Terminal (Qiche Zhan), then take Tunxi-Yellow Mountain Scheduled Bus to get there.

How to Get to Huangshan North Railway Station from Huangshan Railway Station

Take city bus 21 to get there directly.

How to Get to Huangshan Tunxi Airport from Huangshan Railway Station

Take city bus 21 to Mengyuancun, then transfer to city bus 18 in the same bus station to get to the airport. The ticket fare is about CNY 2 and it takes about 1 hour to get there.

How to Get to Other Scenic Spots in Huangshan

Tunxi Ancient Street

Take city bus 6 to Huishan Road Junction. After, walk south along Xin’an Road for about 400 meters (440 yards), turn right and keep walking for about 600 meters (660 yards), again turn right and walk for a little while, you will see the ancient street.

Xidi Ancient Village

Take City Tourism Bus Line at nearby Huishang International Hotel Bus Stop to get there directly. The tourism bus also gets to other scenic spots including Hongcun Ancient Village and Xiuli Ancient Town.

Is Huangshan station is as same as Mt. Huangshan?

Not really. Huangshan City is named after Mt. Huangshan, the train will actually arrive at Huangshan city, which is 60km away from the mountain. There are buses available the bus still need about 70 minutes to Mt. Huangshan.

Is there direct bus to Huangshan from airport?

When is the final bus? And the bus to downtown?

There is no shuttle bus from airport to Huangshan, but you may found some private car and taxi. The shuttle bus to downtown is running according to the flight schedule, so should be no problem to use. The airport is not very far from downtown, you can use taxi too.

Which bus to take

Which bus do I take if I am arriving at Huangshan North Railway station at 1.15pm and I want to get on the Taiping Cableway

You could not take bus directly to Taiping Cableway. Firstly you need to find Huangshan Tourism Passegner Transport Hub, which is close to the North Railway Station, you could take bus at the hub to Huangshan scenic area. Then, you could take the bus inside the scenic area to get Taiping Cableway.

How long time will it take from Huangshan north station to paiyunlou hotel

I'll arrive at north station on Jan. aroud 13:30 & I booked hotel in huanshan mountain. I'm afraid I can get the hotel on time. What time is the last cable car at yungu station? How long time will it take from yungu cable car to paiyunlou hotel? Is it better stay tunxi city hotel at arriving date & starting hiking the next day morning?

There is bus from the North Station to the South Gate which takes around 1 hour. After that you may choose to take bus to Wenquan transfer station and then change bus to Yungusi. The cable should work from 7am to 4:30pm (but seems you have to buy a ticket before 4pm, not sure about this). I am not sure how long will it take from the cable car to hotel, it seems some distance for hiking. Maybe it is better to ask the hotel about the hiking route and time.

Bus from Huangshan North Railway Station to Tangkou

I'm planning to visit Huangshan arriving to Huangshan North Railways Station at 22:15. I would like to know if it is possible to find buses at that time running from the station to Tangkou. In case there's no bus service at that time, what time they start in the morning?

There is no bus at that time to the Tangkou. The bus should starts at 9:15am in the morning.
