 Although it is a small station with only two platforms, the station has relatively comprehensive facilities and can provide good services. Walking into the waiting hall, passengers will see many seats. Two toilets are provided in the waiting area for passengers’ convenience. Besides, cell phone charging station, hot drinking water, and free WIFI are also available. There is also a small shop inside the waiting hall. Passengers can buy snacks or drinks there, but it may cost a little more than that outside.

If you need to store luggage, go to the duty room outside the exit, where left luggage service is available. It charges about CNY 10 a day, and is open before 22:00.

Facilities

 1. Bus no. 108 is available at the front square of Pingyao Gucheng Railway Station and passengers can take it to the destination. Duration is 30 minutes and ticket fare is CNY1 per person.

Please note that bus no. 108 is operated via two running routes. One ends/originates at the south gate of the Ancient City of Pingyao and the other ends/originates at the north gate. Usually, it is advised to arrive at the north gate as the surrounding area is prosperous with inns, snack booths, and shops.

2. Or passengers can take a taxi to the north gate of the ancient city. It costs CNY30 and takes around 20 minutes.  To Pingyao Railway Station
1. Take bus no. 108 North Line to get there. It costs CNY1 per person and takes about 30 minutes.
2. A taxi ride takes 20 minutes and costs CNY30.

 To Shuanglin Temple
1. It can be reached by bus no. 108 North Line. It takes 20 minutes and ticket fare is CNY1 per person.
2. Passengers can also take a taxi to get there. Duration is 10 minutes and fare is CNY10.

Bus 108 to Ancient City

 To Wang’s Compound
1. Passengers can take bus no. 108 North Line to Pingyao Coach Station first and then take a coach to Wang’s Compound. The coach costs CNY50 per person for a round trip and total travel time is 1.5 - 2 hours.
2. Or passengers can take a high speed train to Lingshi East Railway Station first and then take Lingshi bus no. 7 to the destination. It takes 16 minutes for a bullet train and costs CNY 12 for its second class seat. The bus ticket fare is CNY2 per person and duration is about 45 minutes. 

 To Qiao Family Compound
Take bus no.108 North Line to Pingyao Coach Station, where passenger can take a coach to Qixian County and get off at Qiao Family Compound. It takes about 50 minutes and costs CNY20 per person.
