For tourists who are planning a trip between Wuhan and Kunming, flight is also a good travel choice. The flights linking the 2 cities normally take around 2 hours with the ticket prices swing between CNY 500 - CNY 1,500. Each day, 11 pairs of flights are flying back and forth between the 2 cities. The earliest flight usually takes off at 7:00 in the morning. There is also a pair of red-eye flights depart at about 23:30 every day. Occasionally, the flight tickets may be cheaper than the high speed train tickets. But be reminded that flight may also be delayed or cancelled when there is bad weather or air traffic control. ReplyIf there high speed train from Kunming South Station to Kunming Station?
I will stay at Kunming JinJiang Hotel at Kunming Station, but only find train to South Station.

00ReplyYes, there are many rides a day running between the two stations. You can take one of them according to your arrival time at south station. In fact, you can also take subway to the hotel. From South Station, you can take subway line 1 to Huanchengnanlu, the hotel is about 600m to the exit B only. This is a good option too if you did not get suitable rail ticket.
