Guiyang North Railway Station

Guiyang North Railway Station was put into commercial service on Dec. 26, 2014. It is located 3.7 miles (6 kilometers) from the city center, 6.6 miles (10.7 kilometers) from Guiyang Railway Station, and 13 miles (21 kilometers) from the Longdongbao International Airport. Currently, the station serves only high speed trains to major cities including Guilin, Nanning, and Duyun as well as those ones along Guiyang - Guangzhou High Speed Railway.

Bullet trains between Guiyang North and Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Changsha, Nanchang, Wuhan, Xiamen, Nanjing, Jinnan, Zhengzhou, Fuzhou and many other cities in middle and east China are running. 

There are two squares next to the station, the east and the west squares. Passengers can easily find bus stops, convenience stores as well as restaurants around the squares. In addition, subway line 1 is linked with the station, and line S2 will go through the station in the future when the construction project is finished. 
 

 Ticket office: Two ticket offices are located at the southeast and northwest corners of the ground floor.
 Waiting room: More than 4,500 seats are provided in the waiting room on the upper floor. Passengers can easily reach it by escalators, elevators, or barrier-free elevators from the ticket office, entrance or other places.
 Special facilities for the disabled: The disabled-only windows in the ticket offices, barrier free elevators and paths at the boarding gates and the platforms are all established for them only.
 The Green Ribbon Voluntary Service: About 10 service stations are set up near the station exits, next to bus stops and at the two squares. Volunteers in the service stations help passengers with transportation, tourism route guidance, and order maintenance. In addition, the stations offer free drinking water, umbrellas, band-aids, newspapers, and maps for passengers.
 Infirmary: providing a diagnosis room, an observation room, and a transfusion room, this office is located on level B1 of the station building. Six doctors and nurses staff 24-hour coverage there.
 Others: Mobile phone charger, smoking room, LED screens, as well as weather forecasts all provide convenience for passengers.

By Urban Rail Transit:
Take Line 1 and get off at North Railway Station directly.

By bus:
1. Take Guanshan no. 8, bus no. 261, 262, and get off at the North Railway Station.
2. Take bus no. 48, 58, 70, and 209 to Daguan stop, and then walk southwest to reach the station.
3. Take bus no. 71, 209, and 701 and get off at Daguan Tunnel, and then walk westwards to reach it.

 To other famous spots:
1. Guiyang Train Station:
One can take bus no. 261 to reach the that station directly.
2. Qianling Hill Park:
Walk to Daguan Tunnel to take bus 71 to Laoyangguan, and then transfer to bus no. 209 or 235 to reach the park.
3. Jiaxiu Tower:
Take bus no. 261 to Gaicha, walk northwards to Sanqiao to take bus 237 Fast to Diamond Square. After getting off, walk eastwards to reach the attraction.
