Passengers  are advised to take those overnight sleeper trains which will save the day time and hotel expenditures, but you should buy a soft or hard sleeper because the hard seats are not comfortable and the carriages for hard seat are crowded, especially during holidays. If you have a sleeper, you can have a good rest during the night and then you will be energetic to start your travel next day. The sleepers are in a great demand all the time, so you should buy the tickets ahead of your journey.

Flights

If you are pressed for time, you can travel by flight which takes 1.5 hours or so for the whole journey. However, the airports are a little far from the downtown area in these two cities. So if you travel by air, the actual travel time on the way is almost the same as a high speed rail ride.
