However, most long-distance trains operated here are ordinary ones.

Questions & Answers on Wuchang Railway Station
Asked by Haley from COLOMBIA | Aug. 06, 2019 19:09Reply
Hello, is there any chance to get a sleeper ticket on train K967 to Zhangjiajie?
I am looking for a train on Aug 27 from Wuchang to Zhangjiajie, however, there is no any tickets online. All the booking button is in grey color. How can I get a sleeper ticket? Please kindly advise.

Thank you for your inquiry.

It is indeed very hard to get a ticket on this K967 to Zhangjiajie from Wuchang due to ticket distribution. Most tickets were offered to trip from Beijing, the beginning station by Railway Company. Occasionally, a few sleeper tickets may offered one or two days before departure. However, it is just a chance. Instead of waiting until 1 days before, you may consider flight service or maybe a transaction in Changsha. Sorry about the inconvenience.

As I know there is airport shuttle bus from the airport to this station (stop at the Hongji Long Distance Bus Station nearby), the bus would end after the final flight arrival. So you can try to use it. If you missed the bus, you may need a taxi directly.

How to Enter Wuchang Railway Station
What are the numbered gateways at the west entrance of Wuchang station, Wuhan? They only have Chinese characters, no English. If I have my ticket in hand, how do I know which numbered gateway to go through to get inside Wuchang station? Also, can I enter the station a few days before my departure, just to get familiar with the interior?

Do you mean the gateways to enter the main building? It doesn't matters, you can choose any of them. But once you enter the building, you need to find your waiting room to stay based on the train number. When the boarding time starts, you can go through the ticket checking gate in your waiting room. You cannot enter the station days in advance, it will not pass the checking at entrance
