 Direct flights are operated between the two cities. A single trip takes 1.5 – 2 hours. Full price for an economy class seat is over CNY 1,000, but discounts are offered in most cases and ticket fare for an economy class seat can be low to CNY 300.

High speed trains take a longer time compared with flights, but they are punctual in most cases and the ticket fare is competitive.

For budget travels, overnight sleeper trains are a more preferable choice.
