It is obvious that flights take less travel time than high speed trains for passengers. Moreover, flights often discount, and sometimes the ticket fare of flights is even cheaper than bullet trains. There are one pair of direct flights flying between Chengdu and Guilin. Therefore, it is a better choice to take flights for passengers with limited travel time and sufficient budget. On the contrary, passengers who want more schedule choices and relatively lower budget are much suitable to take high speed trains.
 Chengdu East Railway Station is connected with metro line 2 and line 7. There is also airport shuttle bus line 3 running between the station and Shuangliu International Airport. City bus lines 2, 4, 47, 71, 91, 101, 136, 137, 147, K12, Night Bus Line 1, 2 & 6 are also available for passengers to other places in town.

South Railway Station can be reached by metro line 1, line 7 and line 18. And Line 18 stretches to Tianfu Internatioanl Airport directly. Besides, the bus line 16, 19, 49, 74, 109, 121, 147, 181, 238, 256, 505 are also accessible.
 Guilin West Railway Station is connected with airport shuttle buses and city buses. There are bus lines 22, 303, K307 from Guilin West Railway Station to other places. And to get to North Railway Station, passengers can take bus line 1, 32, 36, 83, 100, 211, 302, 303, and special-line on weekends and holidays.
