There are 3 stations in Guilin, Guilin station, Guilin North and Guilin West. The facilities are general the same, but Guilin station’s more central than the other two, it is better for travelers.

Hi, I am looking for transportation from Guilin West to Longji rice terraces after 6pm.
How much is a taxi? Or are there any other transport options at that time? And is the ticket office at the rice terraces entrance still open in the evening/at night?
Thanks
Christian

You can take a taxi to Qintan Coach Station and then take a bus to Longji. Then you need to change other buses to reach the rice terraces. If by taxi, I suppose it should cost at least CNY300 or 400. The sit should open 24 hours a day.

If by bus, you can take bus No. 22 to Shizijie (West Jiefang road0 and then change to bus No. 89 at same bus station. You can get off at North of Xichengnanlu. Then you can walk about 900m to reach the address. If you want an easier way, maybe you need a taxi.

Gulin West railway station to hostel by transfer or taxi.
Hello, I am arriving at Guilin West Railway station during the China National Holiday. My hostel is around 15km from the station. They offered me pick up service for 100CNY per way, but I think that the taxi should be a cheaper option for me, what do you think? Or I am thinking about the possibility to use the bus nr. 22 from the train station (the bus stop is a few meters from my accommodation). What is your recommendation, please? Thanks!

CNY100 for a pick up service is indeed a little bit too high. By meter, it should cost around CNY50 by taxi. National holiday is a peak season for travel, as a tourist city, taxi should not be hard to find at such a peak season. Bus 22 is much cheaper for sure, maybe you can compare the waiting line of bus and taxi and choosed between them.
