Luoyang Railway Station

Luoyang Railway Station is about 8 miles (13 km) to Longmen Railway Station, 2.5 miles (4 km) to Wangcheng Park, 10 miles (16 km) to Longmen Grottoes and 39 miles (63 km) to Shaolin Temple.

Located at the junction of Lanzhou-Lianyungang and Jiaozuo-Zhicheng two national railways, it is easily reached by rail. Meanwhile, the station is an important stop of the Eurasia Land Bridge from Lianyungang, China to Rotterdam, Holland, making goods transit rather convenient from Middle Asia and Eastern and Middle Europe to China.

Waiting Hall

Covering an area of 25,100 square yards (21,000 square meters), Luoyang Train Station mainly consists of a terminal building and a south square in front of the terminal building. Inside the terminal, there are 4 floors; outside the terminal, there stands a 206-feet (63-meter) high bell tower, which is a landmark of the city.

Passengers arriving by bus will be dropped off at east side of the station. For those having a ticket booked, please enter directly. Afterwards, read your ticket booking page carefully to see which check gate you should go and find it. For those without a ticket, go to ticket office at the east of the terminal to obtain one first, and then go to the waiting hall.

When getting off, a building with two large Chinese characters on top and a bell tower standing by will come into view. It is the station one is going to.

 Arrival by long-distance bus:
Three long-distance bus stations are close to the station. It is easy for passengers to transfer.

Jinyuan Long-Distance Bus Station: to the west side of the station
Luoyang Coach Station: to the southeast of the station
Huadu Passenger Terminal: to the south side of the station, a little west to Luoyang Coach Station
 Several ticket check points are available in the waiting halls. Read the LED screens carefully to find out your check point. Escalators are provided from waiting halls to platforms.

Tips:
1. Passengers taking the train with passport need to be checked manually.
2. You may probably find two trains on the platform when arriving there. Read the LED screens to find the right one before boarding.
3. Please be careful when getting onboard because the carriage is higher than the platform.

Take a Normal Train at Luoyang Train Station

Upon arrival, all passengers will be led to -1F for exiting. After getting through the exit, follow the signs to find subway, buses, long-distance buses or taxis to leave the station.

 Leave by subway:
After exiting, go to -2F to take the subway to leave.

 Leave by bus:
Passengers can go to the bus stop at the west or east side of the station square to find the bus they need to take.

 Leave by taxi:
Taxi stands are located on -1F, same as the exits, for passengers’ convenience.

 Transportation to other places from the station:
 Longmen Railway Station: Take subway line 2 or bus 1/77 to get there directly.

 Wangcheng Park: Take subway line 2 to Jiefang Road station, and then walk about 1.3 kilometers (0.8 miles) to the destination.

 Longmen Grottoes: Take bus line 81 to get there. 

 White Horse Temple: Take bus 56 or 801 to get there.

 Shaolin Temple:
Walk southeast to Luoyang Coach Station, and then take a long-distance bus to get there directly. The bus departs from 06:50 to 17:50 every 30 - 50 minutes. Ticket fare is about CNY 25 and duration is about 1.5 hours.
  Ticket windows:
Many ticket windows are available on east side of 1F in this station. They provide passengers with services such as ticket issuing, change and refund. 

Waiting hall:
Most passengers will wait for departure on 2F, where boarding gates are set. Those who hold soft sleeper tickets enjoy a special waiting area in the hall. LED Screens are available showing the train nos., the departure time, check points, and boarding platforms in the waiting hall. Besides, charging ports can be found next to the speciality shop. 

There is an information desk that provides services including advice seeking, emergency medicine, needlework, wheelchair as well as complaint handling. It is located on 1F. 

 Left Luggage:
Left luggage service is provided near Exit C of the subway station.
