What to Wear in Guilin in November

Thin sweaters and jackets are necessary to cope with the early November climate in Guilin. Also, prepare long-sleeve T-shirts in case it gets warmer during the sunny day. Change from late Mid October to Early November to tour around Guilin?

Hi, sorry this is a very specific question. We were considering shifting our visit from mid-October to the first few days of October. Will this make a big difference to the scenery and how will the scenery change over that time?

Holiday to the city, end of November?

What type of clothes to wear?

Thick jacket, long jounes, etc

According to former information, it may range from 5-20C with cloud and rain. So you need to take your thick jacket, thin sweater, and jeans. Have a nice trip!

I want to travel to Guilin late November.

I read that the water level for Li River will be low. Will the scenery be less beautiful during this time? And will there be no paddy fields at this time? Would you still recommend me to go to GL at this time?

Generally speaking, the scenery may be less beautiful that the peak seasons, and you probably cannot see the paddy fields.
However, the scenery of that time may have a distinctive flavor. You can have a cruise on the choicest part of Lijiang at that time. In addition, there will be less people at that time, so you may have enough time to appreciate the scenery more careful. Moreover, Reed Flute Cave, Moon Mountain, Yinzi Cave, West Street, Xiangbi Hill Park and Yangshuo Ancient Town will not be influence by the seasons, which are all worth a visit. If you are interested in these attractions, you may travel to the city at that time.

The temperature may vary from 60 F to 70 F during that period of time. It won't be very cold. The climate would be cool and comfortable. About the clothes, you can prepare overcoats, long sleeved shirts and pants.
