Flights VS. High Speed Trains

Passengers can take a flight which takes around 1.5 hours, but it costs more. And the airports are located in the suburban areas and one may need at least 2 hours for the transfers to/from the airport. In this case, it takes almost the same time as the high speed ride. In addition, the flight can be easily affected by the weather, and it’s not as punctual as trains. All in all, rail travel is a better choice.

For passengers with a limited budget and those failing to get a train or flight ticket, long-distance bus can be a choice. It departs from Zhaogongkou Coach Station at 09:30 every day with a duration of nearly 8 hours, which can be reached by taking Beijing subway line 8. A tickets costs CNY 194.
