Jinan West Railway Station

Jinan West Train Station presents both regional and cultural features of Shandong Province. It has three floors above ground and three underground for passengers’ use, all connected with each other by elevators, escalators and stairs.
3F: waiting hall, LED screens giving real-time status of departing trains, food shops, entertainment facilities, service center, ticket barriers, toilets, hot drinking water…
2F: platforms, security checks, entrance hall, ticket offices in the north, waiting rooms in the south, toilets…
1F: transfer hall in the center, ticket offices in its south and north, security checks…
-1F: taxi stands, toilets, reserved area for business usage…
-2F: parking lot, metro line 1…
-3F: metro line 6 (not opened yet)…

In addition, the station has east and west squares. The east square is decorated with bronze statues, giant wine bottles and lotus-shaped fountain to exhibit the culture of Shandong and hospitality of local people. There are also parking lots and bus stops spreading around it. To the south of the square, there is a long-distance bus station under construction. The west square is much smaller than the east one. It is also equipped with parking lots for passengers’ convenience.

Platform to Get Onboard

Passengers arriving by private cars or taxies can get off at the drop-off point on the elevated overpass and directly enter the waiting hall on 2F after going through security checks. Those arriving by public buses can get off at the east square, walk ahead to the entrance on 1F, go through the security checks, and take elevators or escalators to waiting hall on 2F.

When getting off the train, all passengers are led to a long underground passage, where there are bilingual direction boards in English and Chinese showing the locations of exits, taxi stands, bus stops, and parking lots.
  
Take metro line 1 to arrive at West Railway Station directly.
