Bullet Train Running Route between Hong Kong and Shijiazhuang

The railway between these two cities can be divided into two parts, i.e. Hong Kong – Guangzhou and Guangzhou – Shijiazhuang.

Known as Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong High Speed Railway, it is as long as 142 km (88 mi). 5 railway stations are along the line, including Qingsheng, Humen, Guangmingcheng, Shenzhen North and Futian.

With the highest running speed of 350 km/h (217 mph), this rail line is one important component of Beijing – Guangzhou High Speed Railway. Passengers from Hong Kong can Take MTR to Lok Ma Chau Station so as to reach Futian Port in Shenzhen firstly. After passing the port, they are advised to take Shenzhen Subway Line 4 from there and get off at Hui Zhan Zhong Xin Station. After that, they can walk around 600 meters (660 yards) to reach Futian Railway Station where there are 2 pairs of bullet trains shuttling between Futian and Shijiazhuang daily with a second class seat ticket costing CNY 867.

The cancellation fee depends on the booking status and the time you ask for cancellation. Before your tickets are confirmed, we can cancel your booking for free. If your tickets are confirmed already, there will be cancellation fee occur. The cancellation fee would be 5% of ticket price if you cancel the tickets more than 15 days before departure time, 30% if you cancel the tickets within 15 days but more than 48 hours in advance. Within 48 hours, the cancellation fee will up to 50% of the ticket price. Hope for your advanced notice.

How many kilometers between the railway station and hotel? Is taxi easy to find at Shijiazhuang station?

According to map, the distance is about 16km. Taxi is easy to find during day time. If at night time, there would be less taxi in service. It should take around 30min by taxi and costs around CNY40.

You can also consider the subway service: line 3 to Xinbai Square and then change to line 1 to Liucun, exit C. Then you can walk about 1km to reach the hotel.

Hello, is it worthy to pay more for a first class seat?
The first class seat is CNY600 higher than second class. Is it necessary to book first class or second class seat is comfortable enough for a 8 hours trip? Thank you for your answer

Second class seat is normally acceptable by most people. Generally speaking, the leg room is a little larger than economy class on many flights. First class seat is surely more comfortable but second class seat is also fine in my opinion.
